Albrighton Garden Centre has published its Christmas events for 2026, with festive meals starting at the end of October and a run of Santa breakfasts through November and December. The centre is one of about 80 run by British Garden Centres, all of which are holding Christmas events this year.
Centre manager Paul Forrest told the Express and Star the team wanted to bring "the wonder of Christmas to life" for visitors.
What is on
- Christmas Dinner and Festive Afternoon Tea: both available from Monday 26 October to Wednesday 30 December. The dinner is a choice of two courses from a festive menu, and the afternoon tea has sweet and savoury Christmas treats.
- Breakfast with Santa: from Friday 13 November to Thursday 24 December. Families have a cooked breakfast, meet Santa, take photos, and each child receives a personal gift. The centre offers it as an alternative to a traditional grotto visit.
- Paws and Claus Breakfast: from Friday 4 to Friday 11 December. Visitors bring their dog for a cooked breakfast, a festive goody bag for the dog and a photo with Santa.
- Baby and Toddler Breakfast with Santa: from Monday 14 to Friday 18 December, aimed at little ones having their first Christmas.
- Afternoon Tea with Santa: from Saturday 19 to Wednesday 23 December.
How to book
Times and prices have not been published in the coverage so far. Full details for each event, and online booking, are on the British Garden Centres events page for Albrighton. Santa sessions at garden centres often sell out in the weeks before Christmas, so it is worth booking early if you have a particular date in mind.
Other festive dates in the village
The garden centre programme sits alongside the parish's own Christmas lights switch-on and fayre on Thursday 26 November. Earlier this autumn the centre also had plans approved for padel and pickleball courts on land next to its car park.
