Shropshire Council resurfaced Woodhouse Lane, near Albrighton, from Monday 5 to Friday 9 October 2026.
The road was fully closed between 8am and 5pm each day, with a signed diversion for through traffic. Residents and businesses within the closure kept access to their properties when it was safe, and emergency vehicles on blue-light calls could pass.
The new surface was laid with a paving machine and rolled smooth, as part of the council's countywide programme to cut down on potholes.
Upcoming roadworks are listed on one.network and the Shropshire Council website.
